My path has been shaped by displacement: geographical (Paris, Hong Kong, Singapore, Auckland, Vancouver, London), linguistic (French, English), institutional (clinical psychology, rehabilitation centres, private practice), and, above all, subjective displacement.
Initially trained in Anglo-Saxon psychological approaches and having worked in settings where acute distress calls for urgent interventions (addiction, exclusion), I have, in parallel, entered the Freudo-Lacanian tradition in French over the past decade and now orient my work within a psychoanalytic framework.
Within the transferential bond specific to psychoanalysis, the work consists in sustaining a position that enables each person to encounter what, for them, constitutes a question: their desire, their singular way of being in the world, their repetitions, the mark of signifiers that affect them, and, as is so often formulated, that sense that “things are not going well,” “nothing works,” or “I keep going round in circles.”
I work with adults, in both French and English
